About the role#
The IT Applications Intern supports the business applications, software systems, and technology solutions that improve organizational efficiency. You will assist with daily operations, troubleshooting, and project tasks to help improve IT service delivery. This role involves working with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration and configuration of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Assist with Intune device management, including enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
- Gain exposure to Entra ID for identity and access management tasks.
- Provide client services support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues and responding to user requests.
- Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with IT team members on projects and service improvements.
- Apply OE/Lean principles including 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, and Standard Work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of business applications, information systems, and technology concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to learn new software applications and technology platforms quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information.
- Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, workflow applications, or business systems is preferred.
- An understanding of software testing, system integration, or process improvement concepts is a plus.
