About the role#
The Procure to Pay Intern works with the Global Business Services team to support purchasing, supplier management, and accounts payable operations. This role provides practical experience in financial controls, supplier relationships, and business process efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Process supplier invoices and payment requests.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable reporting and reconciliations.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice and payment status.
- Participate in month-end close activities.
- Support procurement and process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects including the AP credit and Yearly Recurring Approval audits.
- Support OE/Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, and Standard Work.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor or master degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new systems and business concepts.
- Commitment to following company policies and safety requirements.
