About the role#
As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside our engineering and operations teams to support projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, and process performance. This role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, allowing you to contribute to real business objectives while developing your professional skills. You will participate in project planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering projects related to manufacturing, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Help troubleshoot equipment, process, and production issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety teams.
- Participate in plant, laboratory, and field activities as required.
- Present project findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mining, Materials Science, Environmental, Civil, or another related engineering discipline.
- Relevant academic projects, research experience, or previous internship work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis, CAD, or engineering software is a plus.
- Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.

- This is a paid, full-time internship position.
- Work hours are established based on business needs and your academic schedule.
