About the role#
The Audit intern role provides an opportunity to assist the Audit department with financial reporting and account statement analysis. Interns will shadow experienced staff to gain hands-on experience with audit procedures and the overall audit lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Execute and document testing of client controls and financial statement account balances, providing clear explanations of results.
- Learn to prepare formal audit documentation.
- Support audit execution by completing assigned tasks and engaging in professional client interactions.
- Manage clerical functions including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and emailing documents.
- Handle other related duties and projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, or equivalent degree.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
