About the role#
The Probe Area Manufacturing Engineering team supports semiconductor manufacturing through data-driven decision making, capacity planning, and continuous improvement. We work with Operations, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, and Equipment Engineering to improve factory performance. This internship provides hands-on experience applying engineering principles within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze manufacturing data to develop insights that improve factory performance.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions to support engineering and operational decision making.
- Support process improvement and KPI initiatives focused on capacity, productivity, and operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other basic data analysis tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytics and visualization tools.
- Coursework or project experience in statistics, operations research, manufacturing systems, or process improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Skills and experience using AI assisted tools to organize, visualize, and analyze data.
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
