About the role#
As an HBM Design Engineer Intern, you will work with our memory engineering team on semiconductor design, simulation, and verification. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard design methodologies and EDA tools. This role involves using AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering productivity and design quality.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, simulation, analysis, and verification of HBM memory and logic circuits.
- Support RTL development, circuit implementation, timing and power analysis, and functional validation.
- Develop scripts, automation solutions, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Collaborate with Design, Verification, Physical Design, CAD, and Product Engineering teams.
- Document technical work, experimental results, and design methodologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in Digital Logic Design, CMOS Circuits, Computer Architecture, VLSI Design, or Semiconductor Devices.
- Understanding of combinational and sequential logic design.
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
- Programming experience in Python, Perl, Tcl, or C/C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of memory architectures like DRAM, SRAM, DDR, LPDDR, or HBM is preferred.
- Experience with RTL design, synthesis, or verification methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and semiconductor EDA tools such as VCS, Xcelium, PrimeTime, or Innovus is helpful.
