About the role#
As an Equipment Technician intern at our Boise fabrication facility, you will gain hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment. You will work with equipment used to manufacture memory and storage solutions. This role involves on-the-job training in safety protocols, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with technicians and engineers to improve equipment efficiency and support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete required safety training and follow all safety policies.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify and resolve root causes.
- Document tool status, including observations and work performed.
- Perform audits and submit reports on safety and quality issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an AAS program for Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Expected degree completion between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Mechanical proficiency and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic electrical fundamentals.
- Intermediate PC skills.
