About the role#
The Structural Design Co-Op works directly with our Structural Design team to assist in the production of packaging and point of purchase displays. This role provides hands-on experience through project support and collaboration with design professionals. You will develop technical skills relevant to your field of study while contributing to business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Operate the Kongsberg Cutting Table to create samples of corrugated display components.
- Mount printed sheets to corrugated materials for display mock-ups.
- Assemble and build point of purchase display samples.
- Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to photograph displays and prepare them for presentations.
- Create assembly instructions in Adobe Illustrator using digital photographs.
- Utilize Artios CAD software to modify or design display components and generate specification packages.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary degree program, specifically pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Artios CAD and CAPE software.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable, dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and support the design staff with various tasks.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Summer 2027 (January 4, 2027 to July 2, 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
