About the role#
McLeod Health is hiring a Nurse Extern for the Medical Surgical department in Little River, South Carolina. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient care duties such as bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and transporting patients.
- Obtain vital signs based on the needs of the patient population.
- Conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being.
- Create a comforting and secure environment for patients and their visitors.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of a Nursing Fundamentals course.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
