About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Student Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team in Raleigh for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work directly with our project team on municipal engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical and design services for water and wastewater projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations and prepare design computations.
- Assist with the creation of design and construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
- Complete assigned design tasks within budget and on schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers and the design team to ensure efficient project delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Civil or Environmental Engineering. Junior status is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow directives and coordinate efforts within a team.
- A valid driver's license.
- An acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
