This internship provides graduate students with relevant field experience within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. Interns will work under the guidance of assigned mentors to observe clinical research processes, complete specific work assignments, and fulfill reporting requirements for both Mayo Clinic and their educational institution.
What you'll do#
- Advise and educate research fellows, clinical fellows, and residents on statistical and AI-assisted research tools and workflows.
- Refine and integrate statistical analysis pipelines in collaboration with the QHS biostatistics team.
- Support the research workflow for projects within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s or graduate degree program in Statistics, Computer Science, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Completion of most required coursework for your degree program.
- A degree program that requires an internship for graduation or offers it as a credit option.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship (must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
