About the role#
This 9-week internship provides a practical introduction to options market making. You will work in a structured program designed to build foundational trading skills through theory, simulation, and desk exposure. The role is based in our Chicago office and offers a pathway for consideration into our Graduate Trader Program.
What you'll do#
- Learn the core foundations of options market making, including pricing, risk, and probability.
- Apply your learning through trading simulations, mock trading, and classroom-based training.
- Gain exposure to the tools, systems, and desk environments used by our Traders.
- Participate in desk shadowing, project work, and sessions on macroeconomics and technical training.
- Receive ongoing feedback and check-ins from the Trading and Emerging Talent teams.
What you'll need#
- Penultimate year undergraduate or master’s student status.
- Strong numeracy skills and a solid understanding of probability and statistics.
- A genuine interest in financial markets.
- A willingness to adopt and utilize emerging AI technologies.
- Academic background in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.
