About the role#
Mativ is looking for a Safety Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This role is based at our Neenah Converting Center in Neenah, Wisconsin. You will work with the corporate environmental, health, and safety leadership team to support key initiatives and learn about the factors that drive successful EHS strategy.
What you'll do#
- Lead or contribute to projects focused on EHS data collection, management, and communication across facility and enterprise levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety and environmental stewardship.
- Build a working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Work directly with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Prior internship or work experience in a safety-related position.
- Strong organizational and technical skills with an ability to work well in a team.
- Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage multiple projects at once.
- A desire to contribute and learn in a professional environment.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Neenah, Wisconsin.
