About the role#
This internship provides college students with real-world experience in sales, communications, client services, and finance. You will work within the Third-Party Distribution and New Markets team, which focuses on expanding distribution channels and market innovation. The role is designed to help you build professional and leadership skills while you contribute to projects that drive measurable outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Solve business problems and participate in high-profile projects.
- Focus on process improvements to better serve internal and external customers.
- Learn about the business across several departments by working with mentors.
- Engage with the MassMutual community through networking activities and meetings with senior leaders.
- Participate in volunteer opportunities to support local communities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year bachelor’s degree program with an anticipated graduation date of 2028, 2029, or 2030.
- A major in Business Administration, Economics, Communications, or Finance.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience through student clubs, community involvement, or paid work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to take initiative when solving problems.
