The Culinary Intern program at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations. This program provides an immersive look into the travel industry, allowing participants to learn about the business and culture of Marriott International. Interns work under the guidance of experienced mentors as they explore career paths in hotel management.
What you'll do#
- Participate in culinary training through the Rouxbe Cooking School using their self-paced online curriculum.
- Apply culinary lessons directly to daily hotel operations.
- Learn the fundamentals of hotel management from the ground up.
- Engage with Marriott's business culture and operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university student.
- Interest in pursuing a career in hotel management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop professional skills.
- Majors considered include Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Nursing, and Health Administration.
