The Sales Engineering Co-op program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of sales, engineering, and business. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals to learn how complex engineered systems are specified, sold, and supported. This role focuses on supporting the sales team in the medical piped equipment and laboratory markets while developing your understanding of consultative, relationship-driven technical sales.
What you'll do#
- Support the sales team with quotation, submittal, and follow-up activities.
- Learn about the Medical Gas and Laboratory Gas industries, including products, applications, and sales cycles.
- Participate in customer visits, sales calls, and training sessions alongside senior sales staff.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and account tracking.
- Maintain and update customer and opportunity data in CRM systems.
- Assist with the development of product and application training materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS/BA degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer), Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- An interest in technical or consultative sales and engineering-driven products.
- Ability to interact professionally with engineers, contractors, and customers.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
