About the role#
As an Assistant Project Coordinator, you will support Project Managers and Superintendents in the delivery of civil construction projects. You will gain experience across various contract types, including Design Build, Plan and Spec, and Construction Management. The role focuses on maintaining contract documentation, supporting estimating, and assisting with the preparation of budgets and schedules to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain purchase order logs, shop drawing and submittal logs, and plan logs.
- Assist in the selection of suppliers and sub-trades and obtain quotations.
- Clarify the scope of work with sub-trades and suppliers.
- Ensure a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate policy.
- Attend site meetings and assist in the completion of project deficiencies.
- Track and maintain an inventory of supplies to ensure they arrive on schedule.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a related post-secondary program, such as Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Alternatively, a recent graduate from a related program who completed studies in 2026.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset.

- Location: Pickering, Ontario (Duffin Creek project).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (8 or 12-month term preferred).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid.
- Note: A vehicle is required to visit project sites, as locations are not easily accessible by public transit.
