About the role#
The Quality Engineering Internship at Lozier Corporation offers students and recent graduates the chance to apply engineering knowledge in a real-world manufacturing setting. You will work on-site in Omaha, Nebraska, during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Collect data and analyze trends to resolve customer problems and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct quality system audits to ensure consistency in processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve quality problems.
- Provide technical support to engineers, including troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to engineering activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong academic record with coursework in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Basic technical knowledge and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
