About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Oklahoma City. You will work directly with the accounting department to support day-to-day tax functions, analyze project trends, and assist with special projects. Interns at Love's receive professional guidance, participate in a mentor program, and provide a formal presentation to leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare income tax returns and quarterly estimates.
- Support the team during IRS and state audits.
- Review fixed assets to ensure proper tax life and methods are applied.
- Identify potential tax savings and research state income tax credits.
- Work on process improvements to increase efficiency within the tax function.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year university program as a sophomore or higher, pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum 3.25 GPA.
- Completion of Accounting I and II coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
