About the role#
This Graduate Assistant position supports the hiring department with various projects and day to day tasks. It is a full-time, paid role based in San Bernardino. Candidates must be current students at Loma Linda University and understand the mission and values of the institution.
What you'll do#
- Assist the hiring department with assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as needed to support department operations.
- Provide leadership and enforce policies to ensure compliance with standards and rules.
- Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate with team members.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and current enrollment as a student at Loma Linda University.
- Proficiency with computers and software programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English with professional quality.
- Capability to think critically, solve problems, and work independently.
- Skill in managing multiple assignments, organizing workloads, and paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure.
- Physical ability to hear general conversation, distinguish colors, and read computer screens or written documents.
