About the role#
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Mechanical Test Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Cape Canaveral, Florida. It is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
You will work within technical and engineering organizations during your academic break. Your assignments will focus on mechanical test engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Experience working on projects or with teams.
- United States citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Interest in hands-on engineering and test development is helpful, as is knowledge of CAD tools like CREO or Microsoft Office software.
