About the role#
This role supports the mechanical systems team in designing and developing equipment like landing gear, rescue hoists, and cargo handling systems. You will work on projects within the RMS Sikorsky Core department.
What you'll do#
- Assist with layout and design modeling for mechanical systems.
- Create 3D models.
- Help define test and specification requirements.
- Perform analysis on system performance.
- Track requirements for various projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year college program.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, specifically CATIA V5 or 3DX.
- Knowledge of or experience with mechanism design.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- US citizenship status.
