About the role#
We are hiring a Pharmacy Student to join our team in North York. This is a part-time, on-site position. You will support our pharmacy operations by managing automation, maintaining inventory, and assisting with prescription preparation. This role involves working with automated systems to package medications for nursing homes and ensuring timely shipments.
What you'll do#
- Generate reports and prepare labels using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Operate and maintain the automation machine to package medications into unit dose pouches.
- Manage workflow to meet daily targets and schedules.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified stock levels and place orders for supplies.
- Assist with inventory pre-count preparation and support count vendors.
- Action drug recalls and secure alternatives when products are unavailable.
- Prepare packages for shipment and troubleshoot orders to ensure they arrive on time.
- Prepare medication blister packs and mixtures for patients.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in different departments as needed.

- Location: 3501 Yonge St, North York, ON.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
- Note: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
