About the role#
The Student Government Association (SGA) Student Worker oversees daily office operations and ensures the space remains organized and functional. You will report directly to the SGA Director and help maintain a welcoming environment for both students and staff. This is a part-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Manage the general SGA office and coordinate operational activities.
- Follow all office policies and procedures.
- Keep office and storage areas clean and organized.
- Monitor student check-ins and check-outs.
- Build a culture of trust and teamwork.
- Look for ways to improve office efficiency.
- Create a friendly atmosphere for everyone who visits the office.
What you'll need#
- A solid understanding of how the SGA operates.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Strong self-motivation and personal ambition.
- Ability to solve problems using deductive reasoning.
- Skill in building and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- Capability to delegate tasks effectively.
- Ability to stay calm and handle unexpected mishaps.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
