About the role#
This is a 9-week Summer Analyst position within the Restructuring and Liability Management team at Lazard. You will work on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, liability management, and broader market analysis. The program begins with a week-long training session in New York. Throughout the internship, you will receive formal mentorship and work alongside senior bankers on live deals and client pitches.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis and modeling.
- Conduct research on companies and industries.
- Assist in the creation of client presentations.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and interact with clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a US university pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- A focus in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Top academic performance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
