About the role#
This is a 9-week Summer Analyst position based in Chicago. You will work within the Restructuring and Liability Management group, gaining exposure to live deal and pitch work. The internship begins with a week-long training program in New York. Throughout the summer, you will receive formal mentorship and participate in team events and networking opportunities with bankers across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis and modeling.
- Conduct company and industry research.
- Assist in the development of client presentations.
- Interact with senior bankers and clients.
- Work on in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
- Support liability management projects and market analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a US university pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- A focus in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Top academic performance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Maturity, poise, creativity, and motivation.
