About the role#
As a Corporate Finance Advisory Summer Analyst, you will join the Strategic Capital Solutions team to work on corporate finance, capital structure, and financing advisory. You will help advise corporate and sponsor clients on capital raising and structure optimization. This role involves working across the full spectrum of capital structures, connecting capital markets to clients across all sectors.
What you'll do#
- Advise on M&A, corporate separations, refinancing, and other advisory projects.
- Perform cost of capital and capital allocation analyses, including balance sheet and return of capital strategy.
- Provide ratings advisory services for M&A and strategic transactions.
- Advise on optimal separation mechanics regarding pro-forma NewCo and RemainCo value creation.
- Provide debt financing advice, including arranging financing commitments, term loans, and revolving credit facilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a US university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date in December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- Strong academic record and evidence of an exemplary work ethic.
- Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and qualitative skills, including database analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools, with the ability to learn new databases and applications quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Interest in broadening your skillset beyond a single financial product.
