About the role#
The Lawyering Project is seeking legal interns to support our legal programs during the summer of 2027. This is a remote, full-time position. Interns will work for a period of ten to twelve weeks between May and August 2027. You will gain practical experience by assisting with our litigation, access, and innovation work.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal and factual research, analysis, and writing.
- Cite-check and copy-edit legal documents.
- Assist with court filings and client advising.
- Provide additional support to our legal programs as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a law school located in the United States.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues.
- A demonstrated commitment to social justice.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The internship is a paid position with a stipend of $625 per week, up to a maximum of $7,500 for 12 weeks.
