About the role#
The Law Offices of Sabrina Li, P.C. is looking for a Bilingual Legal Intern to support our immigration law team. This position offers a chance to gain practical experience in legal research and case management. You will work directly with attorneys and staff to assist with daily operations and client support. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research on immigration issues using statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Prepare forms, filings, and supporting evidence for immigration applications.
- Summarize research findings into clear and concise formats.
- Draft correspondence and maintain case records for attorneys.
- Manage administrative tasks including file organization, scanning, copying, and tracking case deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to gather information or provide updates under attorney supervision.
- Collaborate with a multicultural team to ensure accuracy in case work.
- Handle sensitive client information with professional discretion.
What you'll need#
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Political Science, International Relations, History, Sociology, or a related field.
- Intent to attend law school or pursue a career in the legal field.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in legal, administrative, or client-service roles is helpful but not required.

- This role is based on-site in Dallas, Texas, or Pasadena, California.
- The position is full-time.
- We require a minimum commitment of 12 weeks.
