About the role#
Langan is seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern or Co-op to join our team in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. You will work on land development and infrastructure projects, gaining technical experience by partnering with industry leaders. This is a paid, full-time position for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and modify engineering documents, including reports, specifications, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans.
- Use reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to assess site conditions.
- Conduct zoning, ordinance, and permit assessments.
- Perform sidewalk cost estimations and determine project feasibility based on data analysis.
- Provide field inspection services as needed.
- Apply engineering principles and advanced mathematics to project tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on assignments.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing.
