About the role#
LandDesign is looking for a Civil Engineering intern to join our Charlotte office for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position. You will work 40 hours per week from the end of May through early August. If you are interested in an extended internship or co-op, please note your availability in your application materials.
What you'll do#
In this role, you will support our civil engineers on a wide variety of project assignments. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside our team on land development projects.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field from an accredited university.
- You have a basic understanding of grading, drainage, and water and sewer design.
- You are familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have a genuine willingness to learn about land development.

- This position is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- We are not offering visa sponsorship for this role.
