About the role#
LandDesign is looking for a Civil Engineering intern to join the team in Alexandria for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position. You will work 40 hours per week from the end of May through early August 2027.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will assist civil engineers with various project assignments. If you are interested in an extended internship or a co-op, please note your preferred timeframe in your application materials.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field from an accredited university.
- You have a basic understanding of grading, drainage, and water and sewer design.
- You are familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- You possess excellent communication skills.
- You have a willingness to learn about land development.
