About the role#
We are looking for an Information Technology Intern to join our team at our world headquarters in Monroe, Michigan. This role offers a practical, hands-on experience within our IT department. You will develop business acumen and gain knowledge of our company strategy and processes while working alongside our team.
What you'll do#
- Support the IT department on various projects.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and processes.
- Develop an understanding of La-Z-Boy business strategy.
- Present your accomplishments and feedback to leaders and fellow interns at the end of the season.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity with 2-3 years of coursework completed.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to travel if required, which includes meeting the qualifications of the company Driver Management Program.

- Location: Monroe, MI.
- Modality: Hybrid, with the ability to work remotely two days a week.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
