About the role#
The Test Engineering Software team designs, develops, and validates functional and system-level test software. This software supports test automation in our factory and at contract manufacturers. You will work with WPF applications, web applications, SQL reports, and embedded software.
What you'll do#
- Apply object-oriented design principles to develop software using .NET, MVC, C#, WPF, and XAML.
- Build SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Work on new features and bug fixes within legacy code structures.
- Interact with customers in a supporting role.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and validation testing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support quality practices including AS9100 and ISO9001.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 3rd year Computer Engineering or Software Engineering/Technology program.
- Familiarity with .NET tools like DevOps, Visual Studio, NuGet, and Git.
- Knowledge of C# including .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
- Experience with coding methodologies such as OOP, OOD, SOA, ETL, and code optimization.
- Proficiency with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, BootStrap, AJAX, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with relational database development in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Git Flow methodologies.
