About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op term, with 12-month terms occasionally available, based in our Waterdown office. You will work with the Supply Chain and Procurement teams to support our operational goals and growth strategy.
What you'll do#
- Lead process optimization projects focused on efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leadership team to track and maintain performance metrics.
- Assist the Supply Chain Business Analyst with data mining and reporting tasks.
- Support Bids and Proposal pursuits, Supplier Quarterly Business Reviews, and site audits.
- Manage a specific portfolio of suppliers or support tasks to ensure the team meets targets for quality, delivery, and purchase price variance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university program for business, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, specifically with pivot tables, macros, and vlookup tools.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Organizational and planning abilities with a focus on completing tasks on time.
- An enthusiastic approach to learning and a results-oriented mindset.
