About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op position based in Waterdown, Ontario. You will work directly with our materials and stores team to support daily operations and gain practical experience in materials management. This role requires a full-time commitment starting in May 2026.
What you'll do#
- Join a continuous improvement team to refine current materials processes.
- Pick parts for assembly kits and support the CSG stores team during high workloads.
- Backfill and deliver part shortages to the production floor.
- Receive, put away, and cycle count materials, including tracing inventory discrepancies to their root cause.
- Transact materials into our ERP system (LN).
- Prepare materials for shipping by completing paperwork and moving items from stores to the shipping location.
- Move items weighing less than 50 lbs with the assistance of a cart.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college co-op program, specifically in Operations or Materials Management.
- Ability to complete the full 16-month term starting in May 2026.
- Ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry skills.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action.
- Experience with Jira or Confluence is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- A task and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work well across different departments.
