About the role#
As an Image Processing Engineer Intern, you will support algorithm development for military mission systems and desktop applications. You will work within Linux and Windows environments to build detection and tracking capabilities. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What you'll do#
- Develop detection and tracking capabilities using signal and image processing.
- Provide algorithm support for Linux and Windows applications.
- Apply concepts including spatial and temporal filtering, interpolation, Fourier analysis, image decomposition, and state estimation.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Matlab, and C or C++.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and the software lifecycle.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GPU or CUDA development, and AIML is helpful but not required.
