About the role#
L+M Development Partners is hiring a Legal Intern to support our legal team. This is a full-time, paid position based in New York. You will participate in a ten-week program that includes exposure to our real estate operations, site tours, and a final presentation to senior management.
What you'll do#
- Assist the legal team with daily assignments.
- Attend meetings with L+M counsel.
- Conduct supervised legal research projects.
- Help prepare for real estate transaction closings, including acquisitions, financing, and leasing.
- Draft correspondence and internal memoranda.
- Help the team stay organized.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- You have a strong interest in community development, affordable housing, or real estate investment.
- You are a motivated individual ready to learn about the industry.
