About the role#
This Summer 2027 Co-op program provides hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will work alongside full-time professionals, gain exposure to heavy civil and industrial projects, and receive mentorship in your specific field of study. The program aims to prepare you for future full-time employment by assigning you real project responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with construction professionals on daily tasks.
- Take on specific project responsibilities to learn about the industry firsthand.
- Contribute directly to the completion of quality construction projects.
- Network with senior leaders and other co-ops.
- Present your learning and experiences at the Co-op Capstone Event at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture.
- A desire to work on value-added projects across various business units.
- A willingness to connect with a mentor and engage with team members.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
- Work is on-site at one of our Mid-Atlantic locations: Annapolis Junction, Maryland; Colonial Heights, Virginia; Richmond, Virginia; or Chesapeake, Virginia.
