About the role#
The Fall 2026 Co-op program provides students with practical experience in the construction industry. This full-time, paid position is designed to prepare you for future employment by integrating you into professional teams. You will work alongside experienced staff, receive mentorship, and contribute to the completion of quality projects. The program includes the Co-op Capstone Event, where you will present your learning experiences and network with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist full-time construction professionals with daily project tasks.
- Contribute directly to project completion and quality standards.
- Gain firsthand experience in construction roles, including field or trade work to understand organizational operations.
- Complete specific responsibilities assigned by your supervisor.
- Participate in mentorship and networking opportunities with leaders and peers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture.
- A desire to gain hands-on experience in areas such as project management, project engineering, safety, surveying, estimating, or equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work on-site in a construction environment.
