About the role#
We are hiring an Electrician Apprentice Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work with our Electrical and Controls Supervisor and the broader maintenance team to support our manufacturing operations in Perham, Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid internship designed for students interested in a career in manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience with the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems such as circuit breakers, PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives, and low-voltage sensors.
- Learn to use specialized testing and maintenance equipment, including multimeters, infrared cameras, and meggers.
- Shadow experienced plant electricians to learn practical maintenance procedures, conduit installation, wire pulling, and safe work practices.
- Develop skills in problem solving, goal setting, and team communication.
What you'll need#
- You are at least a second-year student in an Electrical Technology Associate program or a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You can commit to a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2027.
- You work well in a team environment.
- You bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

- The starting hourly rate is $17.94.
