About the role#
This is a 14-month internship position starting in May 2027. You will work within the Bruce Sites and Projects department to support project management through data analysis, reporting, and automation. This role is based in Toronto and operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Interface with project managers, planners, and engineering teams to support project delivery.
- Manage and improve weekly reporting systems for various project portfolios.
- Develop new business intelligence and automated reports to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with the programming team to build and refine in-house tools.
- Use scheduling software to track project progress.
- Work directly with client-site project managers to assist with data analysis and automation tasks.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve existing project processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time undergraduate program requiring a co-op placement in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Fundamental knowledge of engineering or science principles.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and Visual Basic for Applications.
- Assets include experience with C#, Python, SQL, React.NET Core, Primavera P6, MS Project, MS PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Pipelines.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, which is required for this position.
