About the role#
This is a 14-month internship for the Summer 2027 term, based in Toronto. You will join the Bruce Sites and Projects department to support project managers and engineering teams. This role is a full-time, hybrid position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project managers, planners, and design engineers.
- Develop project management reports, schedules, and cost analyses to monitor project health.
- Track spending and schedule progress using project management software.
- Assist with financial reporting for invoicing and accrual processes.
- Author software help guides using Visual Studio and Helpsmith.
- Work within a team to solve technical problems and build automated reports.
- Respond to client requests with oversight from technical specialists.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate program requiring a co-op placement, preferably in your 3rd or 4th year.
- Studies in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Fundamental knowledge of engineering or science principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in project management.
- Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Assets include Bruce Power Site Access security clearance, VBA/MS Excel Macro coding experience, knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project, and experience with BI tools like Power BI or QlikView.
Location & details#
- Location: 393 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: May 2027 to June 2028.
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
- Security: Candidates must undergo a security clearance process which may take 8 months to complete.
