About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in construction management within our Eastern District. You will participate in heavy civil construction projects, including infrastructure and energy work. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform field engineering, operation planning, cost control, and project scheduling.
- Maintain records for job progress, costs, and material usage.
- Investigate problems or incidents and recommend solutions.
- Work with suppliers to handle and expedite material deliveries.
- Execute engineering tasks using standard techniques to resolve technical issues on site.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering, or construction management.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right.
- A focus on safety and the ability to ensure a safe work environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Ability to travel or relocate based on project needs.
