About the role#
As a National Accounts Sales Intern for the Target account team, you will gain hands-on experience in account management, category insights, and retail analytics. This role is based in the Coffee Operating Unit and focuses on supporting retail strategies for one of our primary partners. You will work in a hybrid capacity, spending time both in the office and working remotely.
What you'll do#
- Analyze sales, market share, inventory, and promotional performance data.
- Develop weekly and monthly business reports for the Target account team.
- Monitor retail performance trends to identify growth opportunities, risks, and business insights.
- Support the preparation of customer scorecards and executive business reviews.
- Assist with various administrative and business ad hoc tasks.
- Complete an individual project from start to finish and present your findings to your team, department, and senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university, with a focus on Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including listening, written, and verbal abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to changes while remaining independently driven.
- You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th to August 13th).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum 2-3 days onsite per week).
