About the role#
As a Data Engineering Co-op, you will join our Information Technology team to support our manufacturing environment. You will work on data pipelines, process information from multiple sources, and address business requirements. This program runs from January 4th to May 21st, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create and develop data pipelines using ETL tools such as Informatica Cloud and Azure Data Factory.
- Write complex SQL scripts to process and retrieve data from the data warehouse.
- Assemble large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business needs.
- Optimize data delivery and pipelines for big data processing.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Management stakeholders to assist with data-related requests.
- Complete an end-to-end project and present your findings to your team and senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced SQL scripting expertise and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time role based in Burlington, Massachusetts.
- The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- The work modality is hybrid, with in-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday.
- Compensation includes $31 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid within the first 30 days.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
