About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program running from May 24, 2027, to August 12, 2027. You will join the team at the Kerry Center in Beloit, Wisconsin, to gain hands-on experience in procurement within the food and beverage industry. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Analyze category and market data to provide insights and develop sourcing plans, presentations, and market summaries.
- Coordinate with site supply chains to monitor usage and demand.
- Collaborate with R&D to introduce new materials and identify potential new sources.
- Work with category buyers to source materials and services through tendering.
- Develop and execute a cost savings pipeline.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and service requirements.
- Support sustainability goals, including responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and recyclable packaging.
- Network with stakeholders across various functions and live the Kerry values.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline from an accredited four-year university.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Experience using AI tools for data analysis is a plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Geographical flexibility and willingness to relocate.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
