About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience within our corporate finance, commercial finance, and operations finance teams. You will work alongside our finance professionals to ensure effective controls and contribute to business performance through financial insights. This role is based in Beloit, Wisconsin, and runs from May 24, 2027, to August 12, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with standardizing processes and implementing changes to drive team efficiencies.
- Perform financial analysis, prepare presentations, and report on performance against Key Performance Indicators.
- Support executive and leadership meetings with analysis and presentation materials.
- Develop business strategies focused on marketing, selling, and profitability improvement.
- Handle forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting tasks.
- Analyze market trends, price and volume outlooks, and commodity market risks.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support customer retention and pricing strategies.
- Work with Plant Controllers to monitor processes, manage master data, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory adjustments, material purchase accruals, and freight accruals.
- Develop new tools and reporting methods to track financial performance variables.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate professionally across all levels of an organization.
