About the role#
As a Data Support Analyst Intern at KENT Worldwide, you will support the Sales Support Specialist Intern program. You will work alongside sales leaders and fellow interns to manage data, generate reports, and coordinate operations. This role focuses on tracking customer activity and turning data into insights for the sales team. It provides experience in CRM reporting and business analytics within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and analytical support for the Sales Support Specialist Intern program.
- Compile, clean, and maintain data regarding customer visits, training sessions, and engagement activity.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports to track intern activity, customer reach, and program effectiveness.
- Support CRM data entry accuracy by reviewing submissions, identifying gaps, and following up as needed.
- Create dashboards or summary reports for National Account and Regional Sales Managers.
- Analyze trends related to customer training participation, feedback, and opportunity indicators.
- Assist with scheduling coordination, resource tracking, and documentation for intern field activity.
- Maintain records supporting sales initiatives and program outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support reporting needs.
- Represent the company professionally in internal communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and sales operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Comfort working with CRM systems or databases, or a strong aptitude to learn these systems.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Muscatine, Iowa.
- The position operates on a rolling term basis.
- Travel is expected at 0-5% for training, onboarding, and meetings.
