About the role#
The Defense & Intel Internship Program offers students hands-on experience supporting national security and advanced technology initiatives. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world assignments, gaining exposure to technical and operational challenges across engineering, software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, and mission operations.
What you'll do#
- Support activities in engineering, technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, operations, logistics, science, business, or program management.
- Assist with research, analysis, design, development, testing, integration, or process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and deliver project objectives.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to project teams and leadership.
- Participate in technical reviews, team meetings, and professional development activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program (Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Master's, or PhD).
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

- Positions are on-site and full-time.
- Locations include Chantilly, VA; Beavercreek Township, OH; Fairborn, OH; Columbia, MD; Ann Arbor, MI; El Segundo, CA; Kihei, HI; King of Prussia, PA; Colorado Springs, CO; Huntsville, AL; and Midwest City, OK.
